About the team

Formed in 2023, the Lionesses were born from the boom in Womens Football following the Euros win and World Cup Final for England. A small knit team of 10 girls, of which only 1 had any previous playing experience, the Lionesses have used the 2023/24 season to learn their skills and basics, create a team mentality and have the upmost fun. With some natural talent running through the team waiting to be hones, Coach Will Gilbert and Assistant Coach Mark Hughes will continue to develop the girls where possibilities are endless
